Job Title: Challenge Course Trainer

Trainer Position Overview: This is a project based seasonal part-time field position where you often work solo, and on occasion, with a team, to deliver ATI and ACCT accredited trainings to challenge course professionals. This position requires travel to the job site where you will live and work for the duration of the project, which could be anywhere from 1-7+ days.  Lodging, travel expenses, and a meal stipend are reimbursed by Alpine Towers.

Location: Company HQ is in Asheville, NC however, this position can be based anywhere in the United States.

Compensation: $125-$350/day based on experience and job performance

Education Requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a related field

Job Requirements:

  • Be a minimum of 21 years old

  • Have a minimum of 800 hours of documented course program delivery experience

  • Meet the visual requirements needed to have a valid state Driver’s License

  • Meet Qualified Course Professional (QCP) Guidelines as a Certification Trainer/Tester as outlined by the ACCT.

  • Current Level II Practitioner Certification or equivalent experience

  • Course Manager Certification or equivalent experience preferred, not required

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Trainings that meet ATI, ACCT and other relevant industry standards using ATI protocol

  • Maintain an up to date portfolio and complete a minimum of 27 hours of continuing education credit annually

  • Abide by ATI safety policy procedures at all times in a work at height environment

  • Be mindful of maintaining an efficient work ethic (i.e. stay focused on job progress, quality, safety, and overall cost of the job while engaged in the project)

  • Organize and turn in paperwork (i.e. inspection reports, time and expense reports, receipts) in a timely manner

  • Take ownership and be a leader in your role

  • Take pride in the work you do

  • Interact with customers in a professional manner

  • Be mindful of your role as a sales person for ATI and understand how you ARE a positive & integrated part of the sales process

  • Manage and treat travel expenses as if you were spending your own money

  • Understand the concept of “creating customers for life.”  ATI seeks long term relationships with customers, not just one time transactions.
